  • Cox Communications desired to open a Regional Call Center to service Southern California in either Orange or San Diego County. In San Diego the facility required easy access for Orange County employees who commuted and close proximity to Cox's Corporate facilities to prevent relocation compensation claims.

  • Cox required 6/1000 s.f. parking, redundant power supply, 24 hour 7 day/week operations, security, broad band fiber optic sources and future "ramp-up" expansion capability from 100 to 500 employees over two years.

  • The facility had to be up and running in just six (6) months.
  • Goldman Ferguson Partners working with local senior management and senior home office call center personnel developed a comprehensive RFP incorporating Cox's unique requirements, identified existing office, warehouse and former "big box" retail buildings throughout the County which could be converted.
  • During the extensive negotiations we also discovered the property was underdeveloped which if developed could have significantly impacted Cox's above standard parking. We successfully secured all future development rights for Cox. This provision alone saved Cox well over $1 million.
  • The Center opened on schedule and will be used by Cox as a successful prototype for all future Regional Call Centers.
